Simba!
I just have to say that I am so happy with the way that this turned out. I impressed myself!! Enjoy!
My Disney Obsession
Last night I watched The Tigger Movie and The Aristocats...so I got a little inspired to draw a few of the characters from the movies...I love Disney. I had so much fun and I'm really proud of how they turned out! I drew them in pencil then went over them with a thin pointed sharpie. Enjoy!

Film Photography
These two pictures were for a project I did on hands and the daily chores they achieve for us without us even recognizing them for what they are truly capable of. |
These are some of my favorite photographs I have taken so far in my film photography career. I just purchased a Canon film camera (which I cannot wait to start using) that I will be experimenting with it sooner than later.
If you are a photographer and haven't tried film...do it. I have so much more respect for digital photography now. There's something so fulfilling about being able to hold your printed work in your hands with film...it's a wonderful accomplishment to hold something you worked so hard on in your hands as a finished product. FILM 4 LIFE. ;)

Time For Some Doodles!
Since I have been slacking, I thought I would show some of my artwork that I have done within the past year!
I also enjoy film photography, so I'm sure some of my film photos will appear eventually!
Same goes for a Music Appreciation class! Obviously, the behavior of the octopus explains how I felt about music appreciation...I got bored...A LOT.
More to come...don't worry, this is just a sample of the goodies I'll have coming.

I'm from Santa Cruz, so if you are from around Santa Cruz or San Francisco, you know this image. It's the Santa Cruz Skate Company's logo. It was on some kids sweatshirt in my math class a few semesters ago, and if you have the opportunity to draw, why do math?

Two Year Surprise
Soooo there's this boy... :)
We have been dating for almost two years. Our anniversary is in February, and I wanted to do something unique and special for him, because I know he would appreciate it more than a dinner or some chocolates.
I came across this little beauty while lurking the web for ideas, and the rest is history...
So far what my ideas are for the book are putting little phrases finishing the title of the book: "...you hold the car door open for me.", "...you make sure I stay dry when it's raining." , etc. as well as adding cute little drawings and doodles to make it more appealing. I'm hoping to put pictures of the two of us in it as well.

However, the extent of the project so far is what you see in the picture...just the front. So if anyone has more fun ideas of things that I can put in the book, I would love to hear them. I hope you all enjoy my FIRST post in "Doodles and Flair"! I'll post pictures of things I add into the book once i get going. Goodnight!
